Getting Started

What is SmartHubs?

SmartHubs is a cloud-based audit management platform designed to help organizations execute internal audits, manage risk and compliance, and streamline engagement workflows. It provides tools for audit planning, execution, evidence management, and reporting.

How do I sign up for SmartHubs?

Visit the SmartHubs login page and click "Sign Up". Enter your email address, create a password, and follow the verification process. Once verified, you can log in and create your first workspace.

Is SmartHubs cloud-based or on-premises?

SmartHubs is a cloud-based platform. You can access it from anywhere with an internet connection using any modern web browser. No installation required.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is your organization's central hub within SmartHubs. It contains all audit projects, team members, documents, and configurations. Large organizations can have multiple workspaces if needed.

Features & Capabilities

What solutions does SmartHubs offer?

SmartHubs offers four main solutions: MicroAudit (internal audit management), ARMS (audit response/remediation management), MicroGRC (risk & controls management), and AuditFlow (engagement management for audit firms).

Can I customize audit templates?

Yes. You can create and customize audit templates for your organization. Templates define standard procedures, timelines, deliverables, and other elements specific to your audit types.

What file types can I upload as evidence?

SmartHubs supports most common file types including Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, images, and videos. The maximum file size is 100 MB per file.

Can multiple people work on the same audit simultaneously?

Yes. SmartHubs is designed for real-time collaboration. Multiple team members can work on the same audit, with automatic conflict resolution and change tracking.

Team & Access

How many team members can I add?

There is no limit to the number of team members you can add to your workspace. You can manage users across multiple audit projects.

What are the different user roles?

SmartHubs supports five roles: Workspace Owner (full admin), Audit Manager (project management), Auditor (execution), Reviewer (approval), and Stakeholder (read-only). You can customize permissions for custom roles.

Can I restrict access to specific audit projects?

Yes. You can assign team members to specific audits and limit their access accordingly. You can also use teams/groups to control access at scale.

Does SmartHubs support Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Yes. SmartHubs supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Contact our support team to set up SSO for your organization.

Auditing & Reporting

How do I create an audit report?

Navigate to your completed audit and click "Generate Report". SmartHubs will compile all findings, evidence, and recommendations into a professional report. You can customize the template and export in PDF, Word, or Excel format.

Can I customize report formats?

Yes. You can customize report sections, add your organization's logo, adjust colors and fonts, and include your branding. You can create multiple report templates for different scenarios.

How do I track finding remediation?

Use ARMS (Audit Response Management System) to track remediation. You can document actions, assign responsibility, set target dates, and test remediation effectiveness.

Can I schedule recurring audits?

Yes. You can set up recurring audit schedules. SmartHubs will automatically create audit projects based on your defined schedule (annual, quarterly, etc.).

Security & Compliance

Is my data secure in SmartHubs?

Yes. SmartHubs uses enterprise-grade security including AES-256 encryption, SSL/TLS for data in transit, role-based access control, and regular security audits. We comply with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other standards.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored in secure, geographically distributed data centers. You can choose your preferred region during setup. All data is encrypted at rest.

Does SmartHubs maintain audit trails?

Yes. SmartHubs maintains complete audit trails of all changes, including who made changes, when, and what was changed. This is available for compliance and governance purposes.

Is SmartHubs GDPR compliant?

Yes. SmartHubs is GDPR compliant and provides tools for data privacy management. We support data export and deletion requests.

Integration & API

Does SmartHubs have an API?

Yes. SmartHubs provides a REST API for custom integrations. Documentation is available in our developer portal. Contact sales for API access.

Can I integrate with other tools?

Yes. SmartHubs supports integrations with common tools including Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, Slack, and others. Custom integrations are available via API.

Can I import data from my existing system?

Yes. We provide data import tools and professional services to migrate from legacy systems. Contact our team for a migration plan.

Support & Troubleshooting

How do I get support?

You can contact our support team via email, phone, or in-app chat. We offer tiered support based on your plan. Enterprise customers have dedicated account managers.

What is your support response time?

Standard support: 24 hours. Priority support: 4 hours. Enterprise/Critical: 1 hour. Response times are measured from when you submit your request.

Is there training available?

Yes. We offer onboarding training, webinars, video tutorials, and comprehensive documentation. Enterprise customers get dedicated training sessions.

What happens if I forget my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email address and follow the reset instructions sent to your email.

Billing & Subscription

What pricing plans are available?

SmartHubs offers tiered plans based on team size and features: Starter (small teams), Professional (growing organizations), and Enterprise (large organizations). Custom plans are available.

Can I change my plan anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. We offer a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and bank transfers for annual plans. Enterprise customers can arrange custom payment terms.
